Terms and Conditions
ASTA Aviation International Academy is referred to as “School”; the student enrolling in the school’s courses is referred to as “Student”.
The Student acknowledges, understands, and accepts the following:
1. All courses are offered within a specific timeline. There is no option to dissociate parts of any course’s program.
2. ASTA Aviation International Academy reserves every right to change the pricing policy, including the course fees described in this agreement. Notifying the student will occur one month before any alteration. Such pricing changes could be applied over specific training periods during national changes and crises or in total throughout the course duration, except for periods for which the course fees have been fully settled.
3. The course is delivered under a pre-agreed timetable, issued which might be every week by the school’s authorized department. The exact times and dates are limited within the school’s normal operating hours.
4. Weather and operational considerations are unpredictable factors affecting the course timetable. Nevertheless, ASTA Aviation International Academy reserves the right to change the course timetable, at any time, at its sole discretion. Subject to the school’s principal approval, in the case of training session’s cancellations due to such reasons, replacement sessions will be provided without further charges.
5. The tuition fees for:
a)National students are 2400 USD per year for long term courses (2 years) and 1600 USD for short term courses (8 months. Registration fee is NON REFUNDABLE AND NON_ TRANSFERABLE.
i.All admission fees are valid for 12 months from the day of payment.
b)International students are 3000 USD per year for long term courses (2 years) and 2000 USD for short term courses (8 months). NB: Registration fee is NON REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE.

6. The obligation to notify the school before conducting absences from any training sessions is mandatory. ASTA Aviation International Academy that accumulated unexcused absences could generate a need for replacement training sessions. These lessons will be charged at the school’s current pricing policy.
7. The responsibility to monitor carefully his/her absences, and the responsibility to request replacement sessions within each training period via submission of the relevant request form to the school’s principal. That is to avoid any additional charges. Unexcused absences from training sessions cannot be transferred or replaced between the training periods, except for extenuating circumstances subject to the School Principal’s and the General Director’s approval.
8. Fees do not include additional training outside those provided within the course outline. Those will be charged at the current pricing policy. Furthermore, ASTA Aviation International Academy reserves every right to replace any practical training devices of the same or higher training value following the training session requirements.
9. Leaving a theoretical/practical course before completion will lead to charging any unused amount.
10. Student accepts to all conditions and policies involve in any transfer of the student to USA or Europe.
11. The official course language will be English and/ French.
12. ASTA Aviation International Academy reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate the student enrolment/training in the event of a violation of the policies and agreements set forthwith. The termination applies in the following cases:
1.Repeatedly failing to appear in time for scheduled training sessions.
2.Demonstrating unsatisfactory progress due to failure inadequately applying him/herself.
3.Failing to complete course assignments or presenting tardiness, improper or irresponsible attitude.
4.Violating rules related to alcohol or other substances.
5.Incapacitation or inability to maintain a valid medical certificate.
6.Failing to meet the English and or French language course barriers.
13.ASTA Aviation International Academy considers the Student’s competencies, aptitude, or character unsuitable or unsafe for further training.
14.By submitting my application, I’m aware and authorize ASTA Aviation International Academy to use my photos for marketing in any form that might be required.
15.The student is expected to maintain a high standard of dress and appearance in keeping with their proposed profession throughout the training. All students undergoing private, commercial, or professional training must wear the student corresponding uniform during training.
16.The uniform consists of ASTA Aviation International Academy logo, black trousers, a white jacket,, black shoes, black socks, T-shirt( for industrial visits), suites ( For ceremonies) and a black-tie. Also, wings and stripes will be provided after the first solo simulation.
17.Always maintain a professional code of conduct. Cell phones are not permitted in the classrooms or during any training session.
18.Any type of physical violence from the student against any person during the student’s training at ASTA Aviation International Academy will result in instant dismissal from the school.
19.The student will be held responsible for any damages to the property. It is forbidden to litter the buildings, gardens, parking areas, and surrounds. No parcels, cartons, bicycles, bags, or rubbish may be left in passages, on steps, or anywhere else undesignated within the ASTA Aviation International Academy and other facilities.
20.Consumption of alcohol or other substances impairing the student’s ability to perform well is forbidden on ASTA Aviation International Academy premises.
21.Consumption of alcohol within 24 hours of engaging in any school activity, ground training, or flight simulation training (if applicable) is forbidden. Any excessive use of alcohol or similar substances on or off the school premises will be grounds for immediate dismissal from the school. Smoking is not allowed within any school premises, other than those designated. Furthermore, food and drinks are not allowed in classrooms.
22.Usage of the school’s telephones, fax machines, or computers is not allowed without prior approval. Any issues or faults identified should be immediately reported.
23.Submitting a complaint must initially be discussed with the personnel involved and responsible. If this complaint may not be addressed adequately, the student then contacts the school’s Accountable Manager or Head of Training.
24.All student assessments (pass or fail) are recorded and held on file. Should the student fail an assessment or exercise they will be subject to a retake. Assessments and their results count towards the overall appraisal of the student’s abilities. Therefore, the student’s ability to sit the regulatory body examinations might be affected.
25.The time of entry to the regulatory body examinations will be set at the discretion of ASTA Aviation International Academy. ASTA Aviation International Academy concludes the student’s level of understanding and ability of the course. These conclusions are governed by the legislation laid down by the examination board.
26.The successful completion of the course or any part thereof requires certain skills, motivation,
aptitude, diligence, and capacity to accept instruction from the student, which cannot be evaluated
in advance.
27.ASTA Aviation International Academy cannot and does not make any representations, promises, or warranties concerning:
a. The student’s ability to complete the course, or any part thereof within a specified period.
b. The course time necessary to obtain one or more marks.
c. The course required time to obtain a given number of evaluation.
d. The course required time to complete written tests. .
28.ASTA Aviation International Academy does not guarantee course completion and cannot guarantee the course completion date. The student acknowledges that any projected completion time is based on average student performance following the course’s content.
29.ASTA Aviation International Academy does not guarantee employment to the student on completion of the course. However, every reasonable effort will be made to assist students in attaining their goals.
30.Some risks and dangers associated with the operation of an aircraft toy or virtual cockpit cannot be avoided, despite all reasonable efforts put by all involved parties.
31.The student read thoroughly the insurance coverage (insurance contracts) provided by ASTA Aviation International Academy and regulations and that any claims can only be
addressed as such, limited to the covers provided by the relevant insurance company
32.The student hereby waives the right to any further claims he/she might have against the school
regarding personal injuries or damages, which he/she may sustain arising out of or during the
operation of the aircraft, beyond those claims covered by the insurance contracts.
33.In the event of any conflicts or inconsistencies between the terms of this agreement, the description
of fees, brochures, advertising material, and any other documents about the student’s enrolment
with ASTA Aviation International Academy, the terms and conditions of this agreement shall prevail. Specific company policies notified to the student, further define the services offered and operational procedures.
34.The student acknowledges the tuition fee applied per course and duration of the course as described by the school manager which will timely be paid.
35.These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the student and ASTA Aviation International Academy any prior agreements, understandings, representations, or statements, oral or written are merged herein or overruled hereby.
36.All terms and conditions stated within this agreement are hereby accepted as the final, core, and
serious to the purpose of this agreement and any violations could cause legal actions against the
violating party and disruption of the course.
37.Any modifications to or waiver of the terms of this agreement are invalid and prohibited unless they are in writing and signed in the form of a new or modifying agreement.
38.This agreement shall be interpreted by and construed according to the Laws of the
Republic, excluding any interpretations whatsoever made under a different legal jurisdiction.
39.For this agreement, responsible Courts are set those governing the location of ASTA Aviation International Academy headquarters and that both parties fully submit themselves as subject to the CCAA law and Cameroon court.
